Playa Carrillo – We are staying in a lovely house in the village of Carrillo, which is about 7km south of Samara. Even besides the swimming pool, this place is paradisaical. This is the view from our upstairs terrace.
This is the dreamy beach that is a 20-minute walk away.
And this is one of the visitors who comes to call every afternoon. The howlers have yet to join us in the swimming pool, so it’s technically not swimming with monkeys, but it’s pretty close.
