Somerville, Mass – One of the things I love about city living is street art. To kick off a series on this controversial topic, I present a photo Twin S and Twin V, posing in front of a Shepard Fairey mural in Union Square.
Both the photo and the mural are a few years old. The mural dates to 2009, when Shepard Fairey had an exhibit at the ICA Boston. The photo dates to 2012, when the twins got a new Radio Flyer wagon for their second birthday.
And what do the twins think of Fairey’s overriding theme OBEY?
Clearly, Twin S is resentful and Twin V thinks it’s a big joke. That’s about right.
