Korpo, Finland – Daddio and I cycled a piece of the glorious Archipelago Trail. This 230km circular route traverses the Turku Archipelago, starting and ending at the old capital.
Cycling is on smooth country roads that provide glimpses of fields and farms, bridges and beaches, villages and sea. Stop for rest and recuperation in the villages and welcoming guesthouses along the way.
I fell in love with the aesthetic at the Hotel Nestor & Restaurant Back Pocket. Here, Finnish farmhouse meets Scandinavian design.
We ended our ride in the village of Korpo. (Another day, another 14th-century village church.)
