Boston, Mass – The legacy of the Kennedys continues to influence the political and cultural landscape in Boston. The Edward M Kennedy Institute for the US Senate is a cool new addition to the city’s educational circuit. It’s an interactive gallery that teaches visitors about the workings of the Legislative Branch — and the US Senate in general.
One of the EMK Institute’s cool features is a replica of the US Senate chamber, where visitors can participate in a debate about some current issue. Today, the (mock) Senate — made up of a bunch of Chinese students and me — declined to confirm Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the Supreme Court.
