Marigot, St Martin – Paradise Peak! (Or Pic Paradis, as they say in St Martin.) At 424m (1392 ft) it wasn’t as grueling as my last hike, and the views were pretty sweet.
The hike starts at Loterie Farm, where they also have a zip-line course, a restaurant, and an enticing but expensive swimming pool. A dip in the pool was particularly tempting after my hike, but I opted to cool off in the Big Blue, which beats a puny pool any day. (And it’s free!)
