Split, Croatia – Split does not get as much love as Dubrovnik, but we were delighted by this vibrant city, which has blossomed up and around the ruins of the Ancient palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Indeed, here is our first taste (of many) of Roman ruins. Very cool!
We stayed in an AirBnB that was right around the corner from the Vestibule of the the Diocletian Palace. This is what it sounded like on Sunday morning.
And what luck… our AirBnB also happened to be in Cat Alley.
