Somerville, Mass – Twin S did a special research project with his class. The teacher assigned each student a dinosaur to research and present their findings at the special event “Jurassic Park”.
S was assigned Rhamphorhynchus. Seriously? I can’t even pronounce that. And it’s not a dinosaur, it’s a pterosaur. (I learned that last year, when another school project sparked S’s interest in paleontology.)
But anyway, Mr Paleontologist seemed pleased with the assignment, and he immediately started designing a diorama to showcase the flying reptile from the Jurassic period. Daddio never met a school project that he couldn’t take over the top, and he was on the case. (Which is slightly embarrassing, when your kid’s project is the most extravagant one in the room, but what can you do.)
