I just read his excellent op ed in the LA Times from earlier this month.
“Fear is for people who don’t get out much, who don’t see the world firsthand.”
This is why we all need to travel, and this is why it’s important for our children too. “The flip side of fear is understanding. And we gain understanding through travel.”
