Have Twins, Will Travel

Saco, Maine – When you’re a travel writer, people like to ask you about your favorite place to travel, as if there could be such a place. I can never come up with a satisfactory answer to that.

But last year I did come up with a list of Best Summer Places, and there is only one place on the list.

But I think I have to modify my list. We’re back at Ferry Beach for the second year running. And this is obviously one of the best places in the world. Sandy beach, salty air and verdant woods, not to mention a community that is so filled with love and compassion – it’s unlike anything I have experienced. It’s going to be a glorious week!
